Education Team
Janet Hillier has over 20 years of progressive experience in operations and supply chain management. Throughout her career she has held a variety of positions with start-up to larger Northeast, Mid Atlantic US companies including: planner, planner-buyer, senior planner-buyer, Purchasing Manager, Materials Sourcing Manager, and Materials Manager She has also implemented an ERP system and served as administrator. Her experience allowed her to set up the standard costs and bills of material/routings. She also has been responsible for inventory management, warehousing, shipping and receiving. Janet has hands on experience with Lean.
As an active member of PAN-APICS since 1985, Janet has served as a Board Member, Events Chairperson, Instructor, and she is currently entering her second year as Vice President of Education for the Chapter. She holds a BS degree from Charter Oak College, and has also earned a certificate in Management from Central Conn. State University.
