Strategic Management of Resources

This course is one of five (5) that comprise the review for the internationally recognized CPIM (Certification in Production and Inventory Management) credential exams. This can be taken to review for the course exam either individually, or we can custom this or other related topics for delivery at your company's location.
This course provides information on how to Strategic Management of Resources can make a positive difference to companies. Important resources must be managed to execute the operational strategy and objectives and achieve success.
Strategic Management of Resources is a 24-hour course. It consists of eight 3-hour modules (described below) . The program will be delivered at a pace of one chapter per week to maximize learning reinforcement and provide time for readings, application and small group assignments.

This course if recommended for Operations staff or those wanting additional information. Training Methods
This course will use various training methods to reinforce the information presented.
These include:

These methods help participants internalize and apply the concepts. Participants are also expected to pull out their own learning points from these experiences and take responsibility for their own learning.
Additionally, the program has been designed so that each week ties together from week to week. Each module includes a brief review of the week before, illustrating how successive topics are linked. Assignments, readings, and short assignments between weeks help reinforce these links and enhance learning retention.

The program fee includes tuition and learning materials. The fee is payable in advance upon confirmation of registration. To obtain the CPIM, there is a separate examination fee per course. The examination registration is handled by the individual.

Refund Policy
In the event a course is cancelled by CWD/PAN-APICS you will receive a full refund. If you wish to withdraw from the course you can request a refund. Your request must be received by phone or in person at Montgomery County Community College CWD office prior to the start of the course. Refunds will not be made once the course begins. To withdraw from a course please call 215-641-6397, Monday thru Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:30PM. Fees for learning materials are not refundable.
