Execution and Control of Operations

This course is one of five (5) that comprise the review for the internationally recognized CPIM (Certification in Production and Inventory Management) credential exams. It can be taken to review for the exam individually, or we can custom this or other related topics for delivery at your company's location.
The course reviews strategies, processes and terminology in Execution and Control of Operations. In challenging times such as these, the skills and competencies covered in the course will help manage their critical "every day" responsibilities.
Execution and Control of Operations is a 24-hour course. It consists of eight 3-hour modules (described below). The program will be delivered at a pace of one module per week to maximize learning reinforcement and provide time for readings, application and small group assignments.
Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for operations staff seeking CPIM, or those wanting additional skill development. Job titles include: Planner, Planner-Buyer, Senior Planner, Senior Planner-Buyer, Master Scheduler, Manufacturing Manager, Materials Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Planning Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Warehouse/Logistics Manager, Inventory Manager.

Additionally, the course has been designed so that each module ties together from week to week. Each course includes a brief review of the week before, illustrating how successive weeks are linked. Assignments, readings, and short assignments between weeks help reinforce these links and enhance learning retention.

The program fee includes tuition and learning materials. The fee is payable in advance upon confirmation of registration. To obtain the CPIM, there is a separate examination fee per course. The examination registration is handled by the individual.

Refund Policy
In the event a course is cancelled by CWD/PAN-APICS you will receive a full refund. If you wish to withdraw from the course you can request a refund. Your request must be received by phone or in person at Montgomery County Community College CWD office prior to the start of the course. Refunds will not be made once the course begins. To withdraw from a course please call 215-641-6397, Monday thru Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:30PM. Fees for learning materials are not refundable.

Has over 20 years of progressive experience in operations and supply chain management.
Throughout her career she has held a variety of positions with start-up to larger Northeast US companies including: planner, planner-buyer, senior planner-buyer, Purchasing Manager, and Materials Sourcing Manager. She has also implemented an ERP system and served as administrator. Her experience allowed her to set up the standard costs and bills of material. She also has been responsible for inventory management, warehousing, shipping and receiving.
