Operations Manager

Deacom, Inc. is the developer of an innovative accounting and ERP software package for mid-sized manufacturers. We are looking for a person who has outstanding abilities to manage and coordinate the operational processes related to support, implementation, and development requirements for end users of our software.

Requirements:
• Knowledge of accounting/manufacturing and business processes
• Experience with ERP/manufacturing software
• Aggressively plan and follow through with details managing time sensitive projects in support, implementation and development
• Ability to coordinate customers requests creating action items and prioritizing for scheduling
• Ability to sort through and condense requests down to essential issues
• Manage a large volume of needs and requirements in a detail oriented process
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Highly effective communication skills
• Knowledge of programming would be helpful
• APICS certification would be helpful
• MIS knowledge, SQL Server knowledge a plus

Plant Manager

Excellent opportunity to apply your technical, process, engineering, and leadership skills as a Plant Manager in a highly technical manufacturing environment! This position reports to the onsite General Manager.

The ATI Landis Threading Systems manufacturing facility in Waynesboro, PA is a leading producer of precision thread cutting and thread rolling technology.

Summary of Job: The Plant Manager position is primarily responsible for :
- Ensuring the environmental health and safety of the workforce
- Pursuing strategies for continuous improvement in the product and processes
- Ensuring the quality of the product
- Ensuring the facility meets financial and business plan targets
- Directing the operation to meet delivery requirements
- Promoting improved utilization and development of employees at all levels of the operation

Skills/Knowledge/Education Required:
Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, or Materials Science discipline is required. We will also accept an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred. Minimum of ten years experience in a manufacturing environment is required. At least two years management experience in a union environment is also required. Five years experience in the cutting tool, carbide industry or fastener industry preferred.
