Education Team
Bill Beason is a graduate of Temple University and holds a degree in Business Administration. He earned his CPIM, Certified in Production and Inventory Management, in December, 1984, later becoming recertified in 2003 and again in 2008. Additionally, he has completed the APICS Learning Dynamics for Instructors and Train the Trainer programs in 2005.
Bill has been working in manufacturing planning since 1977, having served as a Production Control Manager, Master Scheduler, and Senior Inventory Planning Analyst. Bill has experience in the telecommunications industry with JDS Uniphase, electronics with Kulicke & Soffa, and currently in the automotive industry with Wetherill Associates, Inc. in a global sourcing assignment. He brings more than 30 years supply chain experience in various manufacturing and inventory control positions.
Bill has been co-instructor for PAN-APICS CPIM courses since 2005 and has successfully instructed the Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM), Strategic Management of Resources (SMR), and Master Planning of Resources (MPR) for the chapter.
